The Legal Chain

Co-founder: Educational regulatory platform.

During my final years at university, I co-founded an online educational platform focused on the regulation of blockchain technology and tokenised assets including cryptocurrencies.

This coincided with me completing my dissertation on the potential for using blockchain technology in tackling tax fraud which I later published in the EC Tax Journal.

The Legal Chain connected globally with leading law firms, including Magic Circle, and university groups including KCL's Blockchain society and Harvard Law School's Fintech and Blockchain Initiative, to create and support content including webinars and articles. We utilised LinkedIn and collaborated with university societies to promote events, and The University of Leeds published a piece on The Legal Chain's work titled 'School of Law students create links with "The Legal Chain"'.

A highlight of this platform was when we hosted over one hundred students and professionals from across the globe for a talk with Anne Rose from Mishcon de Reya exploring the intersection of blockchain and the GDPR.
