Whilst completing high school and beginning university, I established an independent clothing brand serving customers globally. I designed and took products from initial concept to market, interacting with local and global manufacturers, retailers and consumers. Along the way I taught myself to use design, photo and video editing software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
I connected with local cultural hubs to provide pop-up shops in Nottingham and York, creating digital marketing campaigns to support their delivery. I also negotiated directly with manufacturers to resolve issues that arose with products, developing commercial awareness and problem-solving skills that continue to shape my approach today.
